Almost a year since we started this website and I am proud to say that we have given out almost 100 baskets.  We started with women who had just had treatment for breast cancer and have grown to send special request baskets and chemo baskets.  It is an amazing journey and my friend Andy has told me a million times to relax and just enjoy the journey.  I think about my surgery and how little I knew about what I was doing.  I never knew that even after 2 1/2 years I would still feel the difference in my chest.  when I pick up something heavy the muscles in my chest tighten and my fake boobs move to the side.  I love the fact that I never have to worry that I will die from a gene that destroys.  I have watched women as they laid in their hospital bed, afraid, uncertain and doing everything they can to appear strong.  I know that look.  I have seen it in the mirror and I know that underneath it all there is fear.  I want you all to know that you don’t have to be afraid, you don’t have to be alone.  I am here for you…reach out and there I am.
